The main tasks and responsibilities of this challenging position include:
Prepare medium-term sales plan and derived from this the annual year plan for the EMEA gas turbine service market, with “stretched” objectives for actual clients in current markets and goals for new markets and industries.
Lead a team of 7 Area Sales Managers, all allocated to a specific region.
Transform opportunities in the specified new target countries and industries into focused sales plans and establish the sales objectives by creating quota (order intake, sales and gross margin) for each country with the input of the respective area sales managers.
Accomplish regional sales human resources objectives by an assessment and appraisal system and individual professional development.
Plan the regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
Negotiate complex long term contracts in close cooperation with the Area Sales Managers.
Develop synergy programs in cooperation with Sulzer Houston, Americas region & Sulzer Indonesia, Asia Region.
