Jobco Support is looking for a Senior Linux Systems Engineer (Dutch speaking).

About this position:
As a Linux systems engineer at you will be working on the design, implementation, development and maintenance of the technical platforms of their customers. Together with the Service Manager you strive to continuously improve their services to match these customers’ needs in the best way. Next to this you are responsible for changes, monitoring, backup, maintenance, optimization and solving problems related to applications and operating systems.
You will work in their Dutch office (30 employees) in a dynamic team in close collaboration with Service Managers, Project managers, Sales, Service desk engineers and other technical specialists. There are many opportunities to develop yourself further. In this role you will make use of your experience with hosting and cloud infrastructures, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Puppet, Apache, Nginx, MySQL, Tomcat, Continuous Integration/Deployment tools and more. Your primary position will be engineer, but you may have additional roles such as:
- Lead engineer in implementation projects – Together with the project manager you will lead implementation and migration projects for new and existing customers.
- Technical account manager – for a selection of our customers you will be the primary technical contact person and coordinator. Together with the Service Manager and other technical engineers you will manage and further improve our services.
- Stand-by engineer (outside office hours) - During standby service you are available for 2ndline 24x7 support of their customers.
